We are thrilled to announce that Durham Mayor, Bill Bell, has proclaimed the first Monday in September as Living Wage Day in Durham.  It’s encouraging to see our city make a commitment to be on the path to $15 for all city workers, and to acknowledge the disparity between the federally mandated minimum wage of $7.25/hour and the rising cost of living in Durham.
